One of the saddest moments of 2009. Everyone remembers how they learned of Harry’s
passing. I read it on Todd Zolecki’s
Twitter, “Harry Kalas has died”.
Shocking, profound words that immediately brought a lump to the throat. The voice of the Phillies had been a staple
of summer evenings for all across the Delaware valley during the last 30 some
odd years.
There isn’t much we can say about Harry that hasn’t been
