According to Les Bowen's Twitter post  this morning, the Eagles will be donning the old Kelly Green jerseys in the home opener vs Green Bay. It's the 50th anniversary season of the Birds' last championship, which was achieved with a 14-10 victory over those same Packers in December of 1960.

For those looking to get some Kelly Green throwback gear, they are now available on the Eagles website.

  1. They are so boughten, I can’t wait till they release the road white throwback jerseys. Gotta support the team, and Jeff Lurie’s family has to eat, after all.

  2. oooh I can buy a jersey and put my own name on the back!
