Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. Let's talk baseball.

The Phillies won – late – last night, 5-1. Shane Victorino got a curveball from Felix Hernandez with the bases loaded and two outs in the seventh. King hanged it and Victo banged it (video here). That would be the ballgame.

Michael Stutes got the win. He also – much to the delight of coeds across the Delaware Valley – joined Twitter yesterday (@mikestutes), using the above picture to win the hearts and woo the loins of the privileged gender. The possibility of Stutes and Bryzgalov Tweeting sweet somethings for the next five years is enough to make me misty. Now we just need Carts. Come on, Jeff, you know you want to.

Larry Anderson wasn't happy with home plate umpire Vic Carapazza last night. Just before the Phillies took the lead in the seventh, Raul Ibanez was called out on a check swing and Ross Gload had a questionable strike called one at-bat later. LA no like:

Never change, Larry.

Bob Brookover is already counting pre-hatch chickens. He sizes up the Red Sox and Yankees for the World Series.

The Phillies' signature series apparel is now available at Shop.MLB.com. Cliff Lee and Carlos Ruiz took care of this year's designs. Here's a sampling:

I envision the conversation with Lee going something like this:

Whatever, just give me something with camo and the Liberty Bell. Boom.

Of course MLB doesn't have pictures of the Lee and Chooch designing their duds, but, on their Facebook page, they do have some pics of the Red Sox, Yankees, and Giants designing theirs.

Seattle, your fans… woof.
