Poor Hunter just wanted to get through and speak to the Philly fans…

Here's a link to the interview with our friends from 97.5, Jon Marks and Sean Brace. Good get, guys.

"It's thrilling. I'm joining the team that's got the best record in all of baseball. Ya know, what can I say? You never know what you're going to get when you play in that ballpark. Every time I've gone there, I've loved it. The Phanatic's unbelieveable. The fans, they know baseball, they're crazy, they throw hot dogs at you. You never know what's going to happen and frigging Roy Oswalt might be in left field. So, it's been a lot of fun."

I told you that you were going to like this guy.

  1. Can’t wait for him to pull his socks up, smack one to the gap, and hustle down the line like a praying mantis on crack cocaine.

  2. @lime Like 610 wip bitch fest with Eskin?
@Dave That dude does run funky as shit.

  3. It was a good interview, he definitely said the right things. The fact that Ruben pulled this off without giving up Brown(not that I’m a huge Brown fan) is nothing short of amazing. Someone go take one for the team and give Ruben a happy ending.

I never waste a hotdog, throwing it at a player!

  5. Pence is the man. What an itnerview!!!

  6. I don’t remember us throwing any hotdogs? Anyone?
Oh well … At least he didn’t mention snowballs. I like’em already!

  7. at least he didnt say throwing cheesesteaks..

  8. I remember being at a dollar dog night where things went bad and a ton of hot dog wrappers ended up on the field. I’m sure a hot dog or two could have been tossed in there as well.

  9. “They throw hot dogs at you.”
I wonder if he meant the traditional Docksunts or those mini Chewwawas.

  10. Did he just give the Phanatic props? I never heard Utley talk up the Phanatic. Im starting to like this guy even more

Well, I think Logan Morrison would actually shyte his pants, given how he's a real chickenshyte pussy when it comes to real (wee little harmless) PREYING mantises:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQpbJtG6uB0:
And just a word of advice to all of you Laddies/Lassies out there: Killing a preying mantis is bad luck. You’ll go limpdick (or you’ll go yeasty, for the ladies) for a fortnight. Not to mention it’s also against the law, albeit a missdemeaner.

  14. But do we really want to deal with this discussion all month? I can just see it now: Ed Werder camping outside the NovaCare Complex, eagerly awaiting Favre’s arrival, as a helicopter hovers above Andy Reid’s three-Tahoe motorcade from Philadelphia International. Fuck.
