I was going to avoid this since my Villanova Wildcats have turned into a punching bag… albeit a young, promising (?) one. But, well, here are two screen grabs from yesterday’s Big Five tilt between Villanova and Temple.

As you can see, Jimmy Rollins, who is buddies with Jay Wright (sorry, TU), was in attendance.

You Temple folks can insert your boastful comments down below– I’m just going to lock myself in a dark room and watch this clip of Scottie Reynolds hitting the game-winning basket against Pitt on an endless loop.

H/T to reader Jeff for the Dunph screen grab

  1. Jimmy is also good friends with a guy on Temples staff so it’s not all Jay unfortunately. Terrible game to be at for a nova grad though, their offense is enough to make me sick.

  2. TEMPLE!

  3. Scottie Reynolds has Downs Syndrome

  4. Jimmy is so lazy

  5. THIS IS OUR CI”][“Y!!!

  6. Happy to see that Villanova is beginning its descent into basketball purgatory as the big east looses all of its credibility.
    Sincerely, Pitt nation

  7. Jay Wright is the most overrated coach ever

  8. Could you just imagine if Temple did join the Big East.. Nova would no longer be getting any recruits.
