Join us, shall you?

We are very excited to announce further partnership with Drinker’s Philadelphia.  In addition to monthly quizzos (more on this month’s in a second), we’ll be hosting a monthly Phillies event with our friends and the fine folks from PhilliesNation.com, the best Phillies-only blog on the interwebtuals.

Next Wednesday, April 11, join us at Drinker’s West (looking at you, Penn and Drexel students) to watch the 7:05 p.m. game between the Phillies and the Los Marlinos. Drinker’s West, located at 39th and Market, features a two-story bar, massive HD screen, and insanely delicious and low-priced food and drinks. Get .75 beers (High Life drafts) until 11 p.m. as myself and the Phillies Nation folks play guest bartenders for the evening. This is the Phillies' second home game of the season, so stay far away from a crowded stadium complex and swing by Drinker’s West. There’s a chance the Flyers first round playoff series against the Penguins will be on as well, in which case you can count this as a duel game watch.

The following night, Thursday, join us again, this time at Drinker’s Tavern in Old City for 2011-2012 FLYERS QUIZZO. That’s right– four rounds of questions from this season only. Look for our special “Bryz quotes” round. If the Flyers-Penguins Game 1 is on, questions will be asked during commercial breaks and intermission so you don’t miss a minute of the action.

  1. @Flyers fan who goes to Temple
You can play, you just better hope that 2 of the categories aren’t “Use of apostrophes” and “Capitalization” or you’re fucked!

  2. I like the Amelia books for the family relationships. Also her Vicky Bliss books have romance in them but nothing explicit.
