Week11_head_2
Another week down, and there was actually some pretty big uniform news which, for once, hadn't leaked, been murmured about, or even rumored. The Panthers debuted black pants for the first time. Of course, I'm all for uniform surprises, but the NFL doesn't need more black, and the Panthers paired them  with with their black jersey, creating yet another monochrome black uniform set. To their credit, they chose to wear blue socks and avoided the "black onesy" look the Ravens, Jaguars, Saints, and Bengals bring onto the field, and their pants have stripes on them, which isn't always the case when teams go black. Of course, the shade of blue is best described as "electric" or "neon," so the combination screams "futuristic fifteen years ago." The Panthers have one of the worst uniform sets in the league, and the new pants don't help.

For today's game, the Eagles travel to Washington, D.C. to face one of the best uniforms in the league. Much more in the infographic, but based on uniforms alone, this is going to be a blow-out, especially because the Eagles are in their green pants. Based on tweets this morning, it looks like the Redskins are in their (somewhat) rare maroon over white combination. This isn't their best combination (that'd be maroon over yellow), but it's still better than any of the Eagles options.
