From ABC News:

This morning, Good Morning America featured a report about blogger Claire Crawford, [who] targeted Oklahoma City Thunder cheerleader Kelsey Williams’ looks on the court after the Houston Rockets faced off against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

“The Rockets looked terrible in Game 1, but some say they weren’t the only bad-looking people on the court,” Crawford wrote.

While she conceded Williams was a “pretty blonde,” she wrote Oklahoma City fans had criticized her for “having ‘pudginess’ around her waistline.”

“But if she’s comfortable wearing that tiny outfit and dancing for NBA fans, then good for her,” Crawford wrote. “Besides… not every man likes women to be toothpick skinny. I’d say most men prefer a little extra meat on her bones.”

The article, Is This Girl “Too Chunky” to be an OKC Thunder Cheerleader?, which has since been removed (but cached here), included this poll, which looks like something that would be scribbled in a girls’ bathroom at a high school:

I’m telling you, a jealous woman is the scariest thing on Earth– the intersection of passive aggressiveness and lack of self-esteem.

It turns out, Crawford may actually be the pen name of former Houston Chronicle blogger Anna-Megan Raley: [Houston Chronicle]

Crawford seems to be the nom de plume of blogger Anna-Megan Raley, whose work on the CBSHouston site under her own name deals mostly in relationship advice for men and women.

She also once wrote a blog for the Houston Chronicle, in which she tried out to be a cheerleader herself and posted a video of her audition. Even the knowledge that this was Raley’s working persona didn’t calm online commenters and commentators.

The video of Raley-Crawford’s cheerleading audition for the Houston Dynamo is after the jump… and it pretty much yields the true reason for Crawford’s post: she’s a jealous bitch. While Williams is doing her thing, confidently flaunting her chesticles in her third-straight year as a Thunder cheerleader, Crawford is busy being a petty blogger hurling insults at someone who she’d much rather be, few extra pounds and all.*
