Good evening. The Eagles are going to look very different next season.

The Jets signed Michael Vick to a one-year deal shortly after releasing Mark Sanchez. The deal is reported to be worth $5 million.

Meanwhile, DeSean Jackson is probably getting traded. Tim McManus first reported that two sources close to DeSean, presumably reliable ones, said that Jackson doesn’t expect to be an Eagle next year. And now Jeff McLane is reporting that the Eagles are actively shopping D-Jac:

The Eagles have intensified their efforts to trade Pro Bowl wide receiver DeSean Jackson in the last week, according to three independent NFL sources.

While there have been earlier reports that teams reached out to inquire about Jackson, in several cases it has been the Eagles that have directly or indirectly shopped the wide receiver to gauge interest, two of the sources said.

While all this has been going on, DeSean has been tweeting pleas(?) about his future destination.

Earlier reports said that the Eagles were seeking at lease a third round pick for DeSean, but McLane reports that they may not even get that… which makes no sense for a team that could contend for a Super Bowl next season.
