Major League Baseball and Draft Kings have extended their deal:

Daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings has come to terms on a multi-year deal with Major League Baseball, which extends DraftKings’ existing partnership and makes it MLB’s “Official Daily Fantasy Game.”  The agreement allows DraftKings to offer co-branded MLB daily fantasy games and extend its participation with MLB clubs to offer market-specific in-ballpark experiences.

The joint release from MLB and DraftKings says the deal marks the “most comprehensive league partnership in daily fantasy sports history.”  Critics may suggest that the National Basketball Association’s 4-year arrangement with daily fantasy sports operator FanDuel is more grandiose since it includes the NBA actually investing in FanDuel; however, a recent report that has now been confirmed reveals that the MLB’s relationship with DraftKings contains similar terms.

Not just posting this because we work with Draft Kings – use our link! – but because, I’m telling you, when online sports gambling becomes legalized in the US, which it will, and someone asks, “But who will handle all the transactions?!” it will be Draft Kings and FanDuel who step forward and raise their hands and point out that they already have millions of credit cards securely on file. We can do it. Cha-fucking-ching.
