Ben Simmons Bought a Kid a Pair of $150 Sneakers at the Mall

What kind of guy is Ben simmons really? The kind of guy who buys $150 sneakers for a kid he doesn’t know at the mall.

In a YouTube video, the shoe recipient’s older brother describes Simmons as  a “fuckin’ beige, tall ass lanky guy” he spotted at FinishLine in the mall. Story starts around the 1:45 mark.

After asking the uploader’s younger brother what shoes he wanted and finding out if they had his size (they didn’t), Simmons held up a pair of Foamposites, asked if the kid liked those, and literally checked his foot to see if they fit right. Then he bought him a pair. Snapchat evidence, because everything is filmed always:

Ben Simmons went out of his way to buy a kid sneakers he couldn’t afford, and they were Nike’s? Dude’s got brand loyalty already.

Kyle: I thought for a second that maybe this was a Nike plant, but I’m guessing they wouldn’t sign off on someone calling their newest bigtime spokesperson “fucking beige.”
