Brandon Brooks missed practice with an injury. Philly.com:

Brandon Brooks missed his first training camp practice Thursday with the Eagles because of a hamstring injury. The starting right guard is considered day-to-day.

North Dakota has TV crews at Eagles training camp. Philly.com:

“I know people back home are definitely interested in knowing what’s happening out here. Everyone’s following pretty closely,” Wentz said Thursday, after a thunderstorm drove the team’s first full-squad practice of training camp to the indoor field. “Everyone’s all interested in the Eagles now, more than the local teams around there. It’s an exciting time for the state of North Dakota, for sure.”

The LB corps got shuffled a bit this offseason. Jordan Hicks moved from ILB to MLB. Mychal Kendricks moved from ILB to WLB. Nigel Bradham was signed in free agency to come in and be the SAM. Najee Goode was brought back to be the key backup and the team spent a 7th rounder on Joe Walker to be the backup in the middle. The starters seem to be good. The backups are more of a question, with Goode being new to the 4-3 and Walker being a late round rookie.

Nelson Agholor learned that nothing good ever comes out of the champagne room. Philly Voice:

“I put myself in that position going there, and to be honest with you, as I look at it, at the end of the day it’s either neutral or negative consequences being in a place like that [the club],” Agholor said. “So I made the wrong decision being there.”

“Ever since I got into the league, I’ve pretty much thought I was getting fired every year I played. So after that season would end, I’d kind of go on tour and do my thing, whether it was in the corporate speaking world or just booking wherever I could one because I loved it and then two because I could actually make a living,” he said.

The special teams stud has flashed offensive potential; he had a great catch and run in the last year’s Eagles-Lions game. Burton has impressed observers in practices this offseason. On Thursday, he made a great one-handed catch streaking down the field in stride. This play caught the attention of Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich.

The Eagles have already tweaked Carson Wentz’s throwing mechanics. NJ.com:
