Instagram Live is becoming the new “athletes say and do things they shouldn’t” medium. While Joel Embiid is mostly just having fun on it so far, I’m concerned that the day is coming where he crosses a line. That line may be saying something he shouldn’t say as a person, or relaying some info he shouldn’t relay as a pro athlete. The latter may have gone down on LeSean McCoy’s Christmas Eve stream:

“Going back” could mean a couple of things. It could mean going back to the Eagles. It could also mean going right back to the Redskins. He could also be going back to Cali, Cali, Cali. But there’s additional info.

Previous reports had stated that DeSean harbors no ill will towards the Eagles, and just today on Breakfast on Broad, Brandon Graham added fuel to the fire:

I talked to him when [Eagles head coach] Doug [Pederson] got hired [last January] and he was like, ‘Tell coach, come get me.’ We have fun during the season. He was like, ‘BG, I’ll be back.’ Just little fun. But now that’s it official — as far as the season about to be over — I think you’ll be hearing a lot of noise about DeSean. It’s an exciting feeling to get an Eagle back…Official, as far as the end of the season, now we’re really gonna see.”

The Eagles need wide receiver help. Big time. And we’ll find out this off-season just how willing Howie and Doug are to reach back into the past to get it.
