Weird little thing going on on Reddit. Remember Brandon Boykin? Yeah, the slot corner who was traded by Chip Kelly to the Steelers because Chip Kelly? Well, he was cut by the Steelers after one season and bounced around between the Panthers and Bears last offseason and was ultimately placed on injured reserve by the Bears because of a torn pectoral muscle. The Steelers had also hinted that Boykin had a weird hip issue that made one of his legs longer than the other (that’s not a leg!). Anyway, someone claiming to be Boykin’s wife, Tess – verified by a moderator – hopped into a Reddit thread yesterday discussing the possibility of the Eagles targeting Boykin in free agency. She went full Mrs. Sproles on the Steelers:

I came across this forum and figured I would give you guys the first hand scoop before I see ANYMORE faulty rumors going around. Let’s nip this shit in the bud. For starters, he was cut by ONE team. Secondly, there is no hip injury what so ever. This season was the first time ever in college or professional career that he missed game. That’s eight years! The only injury that he has had is his torn pec which he will be fully cleared by the end of this month. Lastly, come back and prove what?! He is the only damn decent corner Philadelphia has seen in years and let’s not forget he was a very big part on that team getting to the playoffs. Stop with the hip nonsense that isn’t an issue and spreading false information.

Absolutely not offended. Really my only intention of being here is letting it be known the disgusting lie made by the Steelers Org is 100% false.

My username is who I am, not hiding behind a name. Promise you that.

Kinda nuts, but I like a woman who is willing to go HAM online in defense of her husband. I think the last time my wife fired back at a hater was like 2010. Not a peep when Andy Bloom called me an A-hole. I think Tess just started an argument my wife doesn’t know about yet.

Anyway, Brandon Boykin has either two normal legs and potentially one massive penis that confounded an NFL team’s doctors for six months, or there’s something really wrong with his gait. Maybe both. Either way, the Eagles could do worse, and indeed they have.
