Report: The Bulls are Trying to Make a Jahlil Okafor Trade Work
One down, one more to go? According to multiple reports, the Bulls are pursuing Jahlil Okafor, and offering crap in return:
Chicago has continued to push on a trade for 76ers center Jahlil Okafor, league sources tell @TheVertical. Discussions continue.

Woj reported that the Bulls were pushing Nikola Mirotic, while Doug McDermott’s name kept coming up as well. Both, if packaged with a first round pick (lightly protected) would probably be fine if you can’t get anyone else to bite. But NBCSports’ Dan Feldman warns:
Perhaps, the Bulls are pushing for a trade only because they’re offering so little. Okafor’s low-post game offers intrigue. At the right price, he’d be worth adding, no matter the fit and direction presented.
Teams may only be willing to offer deals to the Sixers because they feel they have the team over a barrel. That’s what your trades being telegraphed – whether it’s your fault or not – does to you.
