Last year, Citizen’s Bank Park expanded their food offerings with Chick-Fil-A, Federal Donut’s fantastic Chicken Sandwich, and a couple of fancy Andrew Zimmern-designed options at Harry the K’s. This year’s Aramark additions look great (with one exception) but seem to fall behind some of the other parks the company runs.

Here’s what’s new at CBP this year:

Italian Roast Pork Stak – Boardwalk fries topped with in-house roast pork, sharp Provolone cheese sauce, cherry pepper aioli and chopped roasted long hots

This is for “sharing” but hell no you can’t have any:

Italian Roast Pork Stak 2 - CBP

Jersey Shore Dog – All beef hot dog, topped with pork roll and finished with a drizzle of American cheese sauce

The topped dogs are consistently some of the best options at Citizens Bank Park, as evidenced by the fact that the South Philly Dog got its own Topp’s playing card this year:

topps

Harry The K’s Pastrami Sausage – House cured pastrami sausage, with hickory smoked bacon red cabbage, topped with Tarragon mustard

This one looks…well…kinda like poo:

Farmer’s Market Grain BowlToasted red quinoa, brown rice, sweet peppers, cucumbers, radish, baby herbs, honey balsamic vinaigrette

Sure.

Elsewhere around the Majors, Aramark has rolled out a SPAM grilled cheese sandwich (Houston), a Lobster Poutine Stak – Steak fries covered with fresh lobster meat, cheese curds, bisque and chives – at Fenway, and what they’ve decided to call a New York Cheesesteak at Citi Field (Shaved ribeye with caramelized onions & sweet cherry peppers, choice of homemade cheddar whiz, picante provolone or classic American, served on a locally baked baguette) which should be considered an act of war.
