Sound the alarm. Bang some pipes. Rattle your keys. This is not a drill! Marc Stein, Zach Lowe and Woj all simultaneously reporting the same thing is either the greatest leak of all time, or there is something to this report.

It gets better– Fultz could be on his way here TOMORROW:

Woj is reporting that the Celtics would get the Sixers’ number three pick and a package including future firsts.

Woj is reporting that the Sixers are waiting on Fultz’s medical records.

Lowe reports that there would be NO further players involved in the deal.

UPDATE: It sounds like the Sixers would be giving up A LOT of draft picks. Here’s what I wrote about that last month:

Hell, with Embiid, Simmons and Fultz, you could argue that the Sixers wouldn’t need any of those extra picks they’ve obtained. Also, having a guy like Fultz, as close to a sure-thing as there is in this draft, provides insurance against Embiid or Simmons having essentially a career-threatenting injury, because you’d still be left with two potential stars. Fultz absolutely makes the most sense for the Sixers, and now Simmons’ somewhat loosely-sourced speculation has me all sorts of soaked.

Getting Fultz has all along been the ideal scenario for the Sixers, regardless of the cost. Fultz is the player the Sixers need. It’s that simple.

UPDATE 2: Bill Simmons, the first person to speculate about this, is not happy:

UPDATE 3: Those reports about the Celtics showing interest in Josh Jackson may have been true. Of course, they didn’t want him at 1…

UPDATE 4: The Celtics may very well be stockpiling picks to acquire Jimmy Butler.

UPDATE 5: I can’t believe there are actually people on Twitter who have a problem with this or are debating the merits of taking Fultz. Maybe it’s because we haven’t talked about him at all since it seemed a forgone conclusion he was going to the Celtics, but he is by far the best fit and best player. This is their core. This is what you got all those assets for– to get three potential superstars. Get Fultz and sign Reddick.

UPDATE 6: It’s happening:

If this goes through, I’m going out and buying a bunch of sharp, high-collared shirts.

UPDATE 7: Zach Lowe says he’d be surprised if the deal didn’t go through:
