Round 1 of the World Series rematch went to the Yankees on Tuesday night, as the reigning Champs beat the Phillies 8-3. Roy Halladay took the loss to fall to 8-5 on the season.  He didn't have his best stuff, allowing home runs to Curtis Granderson, Mark Teixeira and Nick Swisher.  CC Sabathia finally notched a win against someone NOT named the Orioles (previous four wins on the season came against Baltimore).  Tonight, Jamie Moyer (6-5, 3.98) will look to rebound from Friday's outing in Boston where he was chased after just one inning, responsible for nine runs on nine hits.  For New York, A.J. Burnett (6-4, 3.86) has dropped four of his last six decisions.

Despite the loss, the Phillies offense showed signs of life in the fourth inning.  The Phillies loaded the bases with nobody out, and were able to score three times.  Obviously, there's still a long way to go.  Carlos Ruiz is now hitless in his last 22 plate appearances, and Juan Castro has just 10 hits in his last 55 at bats.  Despite all the struggles, the Phils appear to be getting closer to clicking offensively.

Injury Update:  Last night, Jimmy Rollins went 0-3 in five innings with Single-A Clearwater.  He'll play five innings again on Wednesday and take Thursday off.  The plan was to have Rollins back in the Phillies line-up this weekend, however, that could be delayed depending on how his calf handles this week.

J.A. Happ threw a bullpen session Tuesday afternoon, and is scheduled to make his next rehab start on Friday.  Happ's been on the DL since April 16th with a strained left forearm.
