The Phillies enter play tonight seeking their first Interleague series win at home since June 11-13, 2007 when they swept the White Sox.  Kyle Kendrick (4-2, 4.48) will take the mound looking to win his third straight decision.  It's been an up-and-down year for Kendrick, who started out 1-3 with an ERA over 7.  Last Thursday, Kendrick went seven innings, giving up just one run on four hits at Yankee Stadium.  In April, Phillies fans were calling for a change.  Charlie Manuel never lost confidence in Kendrick and knew he could turn it around.

The Tribe will counter with Jake Westbrook (4-4, 4.76) who will make his first career start against the Phils.  In his last start, the Mets scored three in the first, however Westbrook settled in and gave up five runs on 11 hits over seven frames.  Raul Ibanez and Placido Polanco are two of just a handful of current Phillies who have ever faced the Indians righty.

Dobbs Update:  Utilty man Greg Dobbs cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.  Dobbs has accepted his assignment and will report this Friday.  Charlie Manuel said it will be good for Dobbs to get some at-bats and play more consistently.
