At first glance, a 3-3 road trip might not sound all that glorious.  However, the Phillies were able to salvage the final game at Fenway to gain momentum heading into the Bronx.  Roy Halladay struggled as the Phillies dropped the series opener.  However, Jamie Moyer and Kyle Kendrick held a potent Yankees line-up in check, and the Phillies offense awoke from their slumber to take the final two games of the series.  "To win back-to-back games is a good sign" said third baseman Placido Polanco. "It tells you that our team is turning everything around."

Tonight, the Phillies welcome the Twins to town for the first time since 2002.  Joe Blanton (1-5, 7.28) will try and rebound off one of the worst outings of his career Saturday in Boston.  In just four innings, Blanton gave up nine runs on 13 hits as the Phillies were blown out for their second straight at Fenway.  Twins starter Nick Blackburn (6-3, 4.96) will make his first start against the Phillies.  Saturday, Blackburn held the Braves in check over seven frames, giving up just two earned runs.

What To Watch For:  Can the Phillies offense continue the timely hitting?  Will they stay aggressive on the base paths and continue to steal bases?  These two ingredients have been key in their recent success, something they hadn't done much of over the past month or so.

Rollins Returning?  Jimmy Rollins may be activated from the DL by as early as Sunday, however it seems that Tuesday is more realistic.  Rollins has appeared in just 12 of the Phillies 64 games this season.

Game Time Forecast:  Clear skies with temps in the low 80's.
