Evan Turner, Jon and Julie Dorenbos (slightly NSFW), Todd Herremans, and Maalik Wayns were all there. That's in addition to Lou Williams and Mo Speights.

Sounds like the Weezy concert was the place to be. Apparently, so was the after party Lou Williams was scheduled to host at Shampoo. Say what?!

Man, Twitter is a beautiful (or dangerous) thing.

It looks like the party was to celebrate Philly-based rapper, Meek Mill, signing with Mayback Records (congrats, Meek). Mill has written songs for Lou Will- haha so ill: [PhiladelphiaStatus.com]

On Saturday March 26, 2011, two special events converge for a premium nightlife experience. iDENTiTY iNK / THE PRESIDENT host Deal Inked – Signing Party for Meek Mill and Official After Party for Lil Wayne’s I’m Still Music Tour at Shampoo Nightclub, 417 N. 8th Street, Philadelphia, PA.Philly’s own, Meek Mill, was recently signed to Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group which was being courted by the music industry’s bosses until finally signing a distribution deal with Warner Music Group. On March 26th Rick Ross, Wale, Master P, Lou Williams of the Philadelphia Sixers and Curtis “Boonah” Brinkley of the San Diego Chargers will celebrate the signing of Meek Mill’s record deal at a star studded event. This event is expected to be attended by the who’s who of Philadelphia as well as artists performing on the tour.

Mill and Will are close (here's Mill on Saturday performing the same song Williams recorded). But don't take my word for it, take Lou Will's word (from Saturday afternoon):

I swear I hate sleep

Today it's about my brother @MeekMill … Philly.. #Showyaluv it's an all day affair

Can't confirm whether or not Lou Will was at the party, but this guy, who claims his friend is part owner at Shampoo, says he was.

Another guy who was planning on attending was Villanova's Maalik Wayns, shown here backstage:

Damn, you don't even have to be a pro to get to a hip hop party.

Reader Brad says Spencer Hawes and Jrue Holiday were backstage at the concert, too. Both of those guys actually played quite well yesterday. Williams and Turner, on the other hand, were a combined 2-for-14 from the floor.

Lou Will doesn't sound happy about being asked about going out… even though he's the one who brought it up as a possible reason for the poor play:

Comment: Harry Mayes is killing you on the radio.

A: they mad cause we denied interview request. Lol. A concert? Trust me. Ive done worst. C'mon Harry. Gotta do better.
