In one miserable season with the Phillies, highlighted by a failed block of home plate, Rod Barajas firmly cemented himself into the pantheon of hated ex-Philly athletes- just below Scott Rolen but above Wes Helms.

In 2007, Rod hit .230 with 4 HR and 10 RBI in 122 at-bats. Yet, in his career against the Phillies, he's hitting .304 with 9 HR and 21 RBI in 86 at-bats. The anger…

After last night's game, he opined on Ryan Howard's CBP home run: [MLB.com]

"That home run for me is a great Citizens Bank Park home run. I set up inside and the pitch was even more inside. It was a ball. It jammed him pretty good. We all know he's a strong man, but I would say this is the only park that ball gets out of, maybe Yankee Stadium. I thought he might break his bat.

He's a special player, but that ball in that location, you're not supposed to hit that out. And when it goes out, it's frustrating."

You know what else is frustrating? This.

Ole!

That led to a two-month long DL stint for Brett Myers.

Douche.
