Sean Couturier has come a long way. Three months ago, during his 10-game “trial” with the Flyers, it appeared as if he may not even be given the chance to play the whole season in the NHL.

Last night, he produced one of the highlights of the NHL skills competition.

Coming in from net-facing left, Cooter dropped the puck between his legs, dangled (briefly), passed back to himself, stopped the puck and then spun around like a greased up table hockey forward as he slapped the puck passed a mic’d up Carey Price.

I’d imagine that if Harry Doyle were a hockey fan, he’d compelled to name this move Tabletop. Or the Panty Dropper.

Yeah, maybe the latter.

Of course, Cooter’s sick move was quickly overshadowed by everyone’s favorite douchebag, Patrick Kane, who donned a Superman cape and, well, won the night. Watch his goal after the jump.
