He did.

Oh that Chip– he’s just so unconventional and zany. Jordan Raanan of NJ.com:

The skies were spitting on Tuesday morning and the forecast called for an 80 or 90 percent chance of rain. If this were any time over the past decade or so, Andy Reid would have sent his team indoors for practice, erring on the side of caution to protect his players from potential injury.

That new coach, Chip Kelly, has changed just about everything at the NovaCare Complex from the locker room setup to the cafeteria selection to the speed of practice. He even has players wearing GPS devices to track their speed and paces in practice. And in an effort to harden and prepare his team for the inclement weather they are sure to face down the road, a little rain isn’t going to alter his practice plans.

The Eagles went through their usual two-hour Organized Team Activity workout on Tuesday. Even the rehabbing Jason Kelce and Chris McCoy worked on the side field as if it were 80 degrees, sunny and dry. Wet fields be damned, they were going to get rehab work in on this rainy May afternoon because their new coach wanted it done.

Not gonna lie: Zany Chip Kelly stories are becoming my favorite narrative of 2013 thus far. Yesterday, he played Circle of Life at practice. Must be those Big Balls.
