Charlie Manuel Just Quoted Jay Z on the Radio

Charlie Manuel was a guest on 94 WIP today. He told Michael Barkann and Ike Reese that he feels any team can make a run and rah rah rah. All that shit. He was also asked about his contract, which expires at the end of the season. His response, priceless: “I got 99 problems, and a contract… or managing next year… ain’t one them.”

Good stuff. Though I’d argue the Phillies have more than 99 problems.
