Not well:

After the game, Babin selected league rules from his customized spinning wheel of blame:

The Jaguars made at least three crucial mistakes in Sunday’s 19-9 loss to Oakland at O.co Coliseum.

Jaguars defensive end Jason Babin committed two of the three. The 10-year veteran made his first blunder on Oakland’s third play of the game.

After Oakland’s Phillip Adams returned a Bryan Anger punt 30 yards to the Jaguars’ 38-yard line, the defense needed to play heady. The Jaguars got Oakland into a second-and-12. Oakland quarterback Terrelle Pryor completed a 3-yard pass to running back Darren McFadden. The Raiders should’ve faced third-and-long, but Babin was flagged for unnecessary roughness.

The 15-yard penalty gave the Raiders the ball at the Jaguars’ 22. Three plays later, the Raiders scored on an 11-yard touchdown run by fullback Marcel Reece to take a 7-0 lead with 10:52 left in the first quarter.

Babin says the NFL’s new emphasis on player safety has changed the way officials view his play.

“I play hard,” said Babin, who recorded two tackles. “I play aggressive and I’ve always played a certain way. I sometimes struggle playing too aggressive in the constraints in the new ways of the rules.”

Babin contributed to another Oakland score later in the game with the Jaguars down 13-3 late in the third quarter.

Pryor threw an incomplete pass to receiver Denarius Moore on third-and-9 from the Jaguars 24. Babin was flagged for illegal use of hands as he tried to get around right tackle Tony Pashos.

The penalty gave the Raiders a first down and Oakland ended the drive with a 29-yard field goal by Sebastian Janikowski.

“Honestly, it’s something I’ve been trying to get better at,” Babin said. “The way football was played when I started playing has kind of changed. I’m trying to do better and adjust the way I grew up playing.”

Jason Babin too strong to play modern game. League rules can’t contain Babin. Babin hungry. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh.
