This is one of my favorite stand-up bits of all-time. It’s just a small sampling of his genius.
Kyle Scott is the founder and editor of CrossingBroad.com. He works sans pants.
Is it just me, or are we in the midst of a modern version of the “malaise” era from the mid/late 70s? Seriously. The news is just always…….shitty. Nationally, we’ve got nothing to be excited about. Nothing that captures our imagination. Locally….murder, murder, murder. Globally, the world is insane (as always).
I remember Robin Williams’ crazy funny stand ups from the 70s but this bit you posted just isn’t funny!?!?. Wow
Such a terrible loss. He was immensely talented at both comedy and drama and looking at his IMDb page it’s amazing to remember just how many great roles he played in his lifetime. More importantly, he was by all accounts a genuinely nice, caring guy. My heart goes out to his loved ones. Depression is a real bitch.
Its so sad that so many of these talented actors and comedians seem to have the most demons. He was a true genius and talent in so many genres. Rest peacefully Robin, the demons are gone.
And this is relevant to Philly sports in what way?
Go fuck yourself and your shitty dead town.
Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays. Do you need a hug? So much anger in that post and Screen name.
Fuck off, twat.
It sucks he’s dead but I never thought he was funny and this video proves why.
Fuck off Gus from Allentown. Sometimes it’s okay to veer away from sports for a moment.
not funny standup. loved him in good will hunting though.
The Fisher King. What Dreams May Come. Good Will Hunting.
“the tears of a clown when there’s no one around”
Williams was the fastest quick thinking comedian ever.
he learned from Jonathan Winters.
Love all you pompous fucks sayin, “Stinks hes dead, but he clearly wasnt that funny.” Clearly your opinions on his comedy are what take presedence here. Not his tragic death. Not the fact that he killed himself. Not the fact that one of the (seemingly) happy go luckiest guys on the planet was suffering so severly on the inside. Not the fact that millions of others are hiding in plain sight with the same affliction – depression. Nope, whats clearly important here is the fact that you think youre above his comedy and want everyone to know it. Go fuck yourselves you fuckin 3rd graders.
Robin was be funny. Rip
hard to feel sorry for someone who takes their own life. I know he was depressed but try being a philly sports fan for a year and then tell me your depressed
Ur a fuckin handjob….must be easy to speak without thinking…
This may be the least insightful, least informed and least funny comment out there.
That is in response to Rhea’s comment.
Agreed – seriously, Rhea?
Need to rewatch Insomnia. Pacino, Williams, and Nolan in the Director’s chair. Awesome movie.
One of the best stand up comedians of all time. His stand up act was on par with Eddie Murphy (when he used to be funny), Pryor, and Carlin. The world surely is worse off without him. RIP.
Thank Mom, hugs.
yeah, what paul said…..armchair jocks never leave the 5th grade playground.
It says a lot that even on he internet there are very few people trying to troll the news of his death. Really shows the impact Robin Williams had on people he never even met, and how much class he exemplified on a daily basis.
just goes to show that everyone has their own problems, even if they don’t show it.

He knew his career was over, when he couldn’t stand-up to hang himself.
Hamas offered him a vest, but it wasn’t his color.
