With the Eagles season just about upon us, we can finally start to see some Eagles coverage that is more than speculations and predictions. And CSN wants to offer that up for a few more hours a week. According to a press release, two new shows will be added to the roster of Eagles-related broadcasts, joining Eagles Pregame Live, In Game Live, Postgame Live, Chip Chat, Eagles Extra, Eagles Locker Room, Philly Sports Talk, Sportsnet Central, and the online-only Eagle Eye. Those shows will be:

QUICK SLANTS – NEW!
“Quick Slants” will air weekdays at 6 p.m., and will feature discussions on the top stories around the league, centering on the NFC and the Philadelphia Eagles. “Quick Slants” with Derrick Gunn and Reuben Frank, will also feature national football experts from NBC Sports and “ProFootball Talk,” as well as social media integration through Facebook and Twitter.

END GAME – NEW!
New this year is “End Game,” which follows every “Eagles Postgame Live” program throughout the season. Hosted by John Clark, and featuring John Gonzalez and Brian Westbrook, “End Game” is a heavily social-media-influenced program that instantly reacts to what fans are saying. “End Game” will debut on Sunday, September 7 following the Eagles-Jaguars game.

According to Philadelphia Business Journal, End Game is being birthed out of Phillies Postgame Plus, which CSN Philly president Brian Monihan said “got some good traction so we’re going to try it with the Eagles … People want to keep talking about the game, even after the post game show ends.”

Finally, I’m glad End Game will be “heavily social-media-influenced,” instead of the more useful plan of throwing some social media stuff (fan reactions, reporter tweets, screenshots, videos, etc) into all of their other shows, like Eagles Pregame Live, In Game Live, Postgame Live, Chip Chat, Eagles Extra, Eagles Locker Room, Philly Sports Talk, Sportsnet Central, and the online-only Eagle Eye. Gonzo, Clark, and Westbrook are a good crew though.
