The NBA trade deadline is six hours away, and while the Sixers have been mostly rumor-free all week, they could still make a splash. According to Tom Moore (via Liberty Ballers), the Sixers are gauging interest in Jahlil Okafor around the league. We don’t know if they’re making calls or just answering the phone every time it rings with “what’ll you give us for Okafor?” but both are viable strategies.

Even if it’s not going to happen, it’s smart business to see what people are willing to offer for your best asset. Miami called about him earlier in the year and nothing came of it. Plus, the Knicks are gauging interest in Porzingis, or at least that’s what I dreamt last night.

UPDATE: Marc Stein says a move is unlikely.
