The next (and last?) remaining piece to be locked down for the Eagles next year just got Howie’d: Cornerback Nolan Carroll, said to be a target of the Cowboys, is returning to Philadelphia on a one-year deal.

Carroll played well in 2015 before breaking his ankle (and then Eric Rowe filled in and played decently as well). Carroll’s re-signing, along with free agent Leodis McKelvin, boosts an Eagles secondary that allowed the fifth-most passing yards per game last season.
