Looks like the CT scan on Okafor’s knee, first reported by Keith Pompey, came back worse than expected: Jahlil Okafor will undergo minor surgery for a torn meniscus in his right knee that will keep the Sixers big man out for six weeks. That puts his return to “full basketball activities” around April 22nd. The Sixers close their season on April 13th in Chicago, meaning Jahlil’s up and down rookie year is over. Trade rumors have been swirling around Okafor since before this year’s All-Star Break, and we’ll likely know if he’s played his last game in a Sixers uniform after the draft.
