Everything is better with Ukee Washington, so at least he’s safe on the ground.

When the Comcast Innovation and Technology Center is finished being built, it’ll be the 8th tallest building in the Western Hemisphere (and the tallest outside of NYC and Chicago) at a height of 1,121 feet. Currently, some maniac sits in a crane WITH A GLASS FLOOR over 700 feet up in the air just swinging materials and dudes around in a box. CBS3, who must hate their employees, sent Vittoria Woodill up in that box to interview the crane operator while they DANGLED IN MID-AIR. No. I won’t even go in the goddamn Zoo Balloon.

Acrophobia is the name for a fear of heights. Technically, it’s the name for an “extreme or irrational” fear of heights. There’s nothing irrational about being terrified of this shit.

Post Script: I have a recurring nightmare that goes like this: I’m in a plane that’s crashing. I jump out with a parachute. On my way down, the parachute gets caught on the needle at the top of Liberty One, leaving me dangling right off the edge with no way down and no way to get help. I dangle there for a while and then wake up in a cold sweat. So, in summation, screw this.
