The NHL Playoffs start in two days, the Flyers haven’t played since Sunday, and Shayne Gostisbehere isn’t practicing.

What do you do?

PANIC

The sky is falling. The horsemen are riding. My world’s on fire, how ’bout yours?

It’s all over. The Flyers were only able to squeak into the playoffs on the back of Ghost’s play. And now he’s all kinds of banged up and can’t even practice. They were already fighting an uphill battle as an 8-seed facing off against a 1-seed. But now? The odds are so anti their favor they’re like the nameless dudes who died first in every Hunger Games movie. THEY DIDN’T EVEN HAVE NAMES!

That’s the Flyers now. You’re this guy. He literally doesn’t have a name. I checked.

DON’T PANIC

Take a breath. It’s all going to be okay. Ghost just finished the longest and most-strenuous season of his hockey life. He’s about to embark on his first NHL playoffs. He tore his ACL last year. He’ll probably win the Calder Trophy. If anyone has earned a day off from practice, it’s him.

Not that hockey teams are the most forthcoming with injury reports, but Ghost isn’t listed as hurt. Maybe he just needs a day to chill. Maybe his shoulder is a bit sore for some reason. Maybe he’s got the runs. It could be anything, so there’s no need to panic. Not yet.

We’re voting for DON’T PANIC. It’s probably nothing. Right?
