So many choices: While previous rumors and reports said the Eagles could be interested in bringing DeSean Jaccson home this season, the Birds are also expected to show interest in Redskins wideout Pierre Garççon this offseason (sorry, I can’t help it), according to the Washington Post:

The team likes Pierre Garcon, and Garcon says he wants to be here. But as many as five other teams (Rams, Eagles, Bears, Cowboys, 49ers) are expected to want this reliable veteran to serve as a security blanket for their young quarterbacks.

There would (obviously) be competition for Garçon’s services. He’ll be 31 before this season starts, but is coming off a 1,000+ yard season where his numbers would have bested Eagles receivers in yards, receptions, yards per reception (for anyone with more than 10 catches), and yards per game.

Bleeding Green Nation thinks you might be able to get him on the cheap side as well. “If…a player like Kenny Stills is expecting five years and $30 million,” Adam Hermann wrote, “a two-year deal for $9.5 million might get the job done.”

But as mentioned before, he’s not the only Washington receiver the Eagles will have their eye on. Their interest in DeSean Jaccson (and his interest back) has been well-documented, but if DJacc had his choice, he’d stay in his new home… or so he told the team’s website:

“I do want to still be here. First things first, I do want to be here and hopefully we can make it work. But once again this is a business so things happen. I’m just really excited about the opportunity I have to sit and now the ball’s in my corner a little bit and see what we can do.”

But it seems the ‘Skins might not feel the same way. “Even if Cousins returns, all of his weapons may not,” Mike Jones said in that same WaPo piece referenced earlier. “It doesn’t sound as if the Redskins plan to re-sign DeSean Jackson, who is extremely talented, but too inconsistent for management’s taste.” We’ve weighed the pros and cons of a DJacc return, they look something like this:

We’re ready for you, DJacc, and bring your Haitian friend.
