The roundup:

There’s been some conjecture, I guess, about Markelle Fultz’s athleticism. This should put that to rest:

This is in addition to reporting from Saturday night that the Sixers would send the Celtics the Lakers’ pick next year if it falls between 2-5, and if not they’ll send them the Kings’ 2019 pick. Throw protections on that one as well? This deal is looking better and better.

This is the name we’re going to be hearing now. Kyle Lowry is out. I, for one, would love Reddick. He’ll likely get overpaid, but unless the Sixers plan on signing two max level free agents next season (LeBron James and Paul George anyone?), then Reddick is plenty affordable and fills the Sixers’ most-pressing need– a stud three-point shooter. He’ll be 33 this season, but players like that – shooters – age well, and he should, in theory, stick around long enough into the Sixers’ window of opportunity. Also, adding a player like Reddick instantly makes the Sixers a playoff team next year, which I think they already are… unless they’re waiting to go all-in on Klay Thompson next year:

Saric and whichever extra number one pick the Celtics don’t get for Thompson entering the last year of his deal on a team that won’t be able to extend him next summer? Yes, please.

🍆

Fultz was served Chick-fil-A before his workout:

The Ringer on the trade.

The NFL may have paid to keep Roger Goodell off the stand, just so he doesn’t have to talk about gambling.

I am going to destroy this Bob Brookover piece later.

People tweeting Michael Carter-Williams and thanking him for the trade is hilarious.
