The first Sunday of the new NFL season is in the books and man was it great to have football back. The Eagles got a little lucky, but defeated the Redskins 30-17 to open the 2017 campaign. However, they did not emerge from FedEx Field unscathed as Ronald Darby was carted off with an ankle injury, which reportedly isn’t as bad as it initially seemed. Jason Peters also has a groin injury and it’s unclear how much that will keep him out.

Part of the all-new CB, we had solid Gameday Coverage with a live game thread going during the Eagles game and will have some tremendous day-after content as well, so stay tuned for that as your day goes along. It’s Monday and it feels a little more bearable after the Birds win, but not as great as it used to be because we have to pay for coffee again.
