After a much needed bye week to recover from injuries, the Eagles are back in action tonight in primetime as they take on the Dallas Cowboys down in Texas. The Eagles look to go 9-1 on the season and put a stranglehold on the NFC East.

To recap, here’s where the staff stands entering Week 11:

1: Bob (9-0)

2: Tyler (8-1)

T3: Chris, Coggin, Kevin K, Kyle, Tim (7-2)

8: Phil (6-3)

9: Anthony (2-7) (2-4, according to Anthony)

Our predictions (some of them are still coming in) for this week are after the jump:

Phil: With Ezekiel Elliott suspended, Tyron Smith out injured and Sean Lee almost certainly out as well, the primary reason Eagles fans are still worried about this game is that the Cowboys will theoretically be desperate. Let me make a respectful suggestion: that’s an absurd reason to fear this decimated Cowboys team. The Broncos were supposedly desperate two weeks ago and the Eagles disemboweled them. The Redskins came to the Linc “desperate” and lost by 10. The winless 49ers were “desperate” to win a game and lost to the Birds by 23. The Cowboys can take their alleged desperation and sell it up the block. They’re not good enough to keep this game competitive for long. Eagles 34, Cowboys 17.

Bob: Forget that Sean Lee, Tyron Smith and Ezekiel Elliott won’t play for a moment and just look at the numbers. I’m a big believer in the football metric DVOA, which takes into consideration several factors and ultimately measures a team’s efficiency and performance against league average. The Eagles are 3rd in total DVOA, while the Cowboys are 13th. They’re better offensively (5th to 8th), defensively (8th to 22nd), and on special teams (6th to 10th). Now, factor those aforementioned injuries. I think Dak Prescott makes some plays and Dallas will be up for this game, but the Cowboys have no edge here, not even home-field advantage. They’re only 2-2 at AT&T Stadium this season. I’ll roll with the Eagles to get to 9-1 and all but wrap up the NFC East. Eagles 26, Cowboys 20.

Coggin: Barring a surprise return by Ezekiel Elliott with a Supreme Court ruling in one hand and a steel chair in the other (I may watch too much professional wrestling) the Cowboys stand no shot against the Eagles defense. Eagles limit Dak to less than 200 yards passing and roll the Cowboys over into a shallow grave. Eagles 34, Cowboys 14.

Tim: On Monday, the Dallas Cowboys apologists in the media (see: Bayless, Skip) will point to the absence of Ezekiel Elliott as the primary reason for the beatdown the Eagles will unleash in Big D. But the Cowboys can survive without Elliott. As we discovered last week, the most indispensable player on Dallas’ offense is left tackle Tyron Smith. With Smith out of the lineup, the Cowboys will have a tough time protecting Dak Prescott’s blind side. Expect the Eagles’ rotating cast of edge rushers to have a collective big game. The Eagles roll to 9-1. Eagles 38, Cowboys 17.

Anthony: With this looking more and more lopsided, it’s going to be the exact opposite. Dallas is incredibly short handed, but they are desperate. Not in terms of winning the division – that already belongs to the Eagles – but as they try to hang on to make the playoffs. So they will do the things necessary to protect Dak; they will utilize short passes and try to play ball control. And considering Sean Lee is out, I’m thinking the Eagles will run the ball a bunch too, which means we won’t have a lot of quick strike offense. So we’ll have a game in the fourth quarter. But, the Eagles are still the better team – and better teams still win more than they lose. The train keeps rolling another week. Eagles 26, Cowboys 20.

Chris: No Zeke, no Tyron Smith, no Sean Lee, no Dan Bailey. And maybe no Jeff Heath? This Cowboys team might have been the team that wanted the bye last week and not the Eagles, but we’ll take it. With nearly everyone at 100%, the Eagles have no reason to lose. The only way I think Dallas makes it a game is Dak connecting with Dez Bryant a ton or short passes. But let me be the first to congratulate the Philadelphia Eagles for winning the NFC East. Eagles 38, Cowboys 24.

Tyler: I feel confident and worried at the same time about this game. The Cowboys are missing some key players and the Eagles coming off a bye week, I think is huge here. The Cowboys need this win to keep their postseason hopes alive and the Eagles need this win to essentially win the NFC East barring anything crazy. Not really sure how to feel about this one, but I’m going to go with the birds because I think this is a special team this season and those type of teams win these type of games. Eagles 31 Cowboys 24.

Kevin K: I know the Cowboys are severely undermanned, but I’m always wary of a divisional game, especially on the road. I think this plays out the same way as the Giants game and the second Redskins game – close for awhile, then superior talent takes over. I thought Doug Pederson did a great job using the Kansas City game film to plan against the Broncos, so I think he’ll be prepared coming into this game, same way Andy Reid did so well coming off a bye week. Eagles 21, Cowboys 13.

Kyle: The Eagles should win this soundly and put up at least 30 points. They are better than the Cowboys, who are without several key players. But, a road division game is always tough and a slow start could be a concern. Eagles 32, Cowboys 18.
