“We are going to the Super Bowl. We are going to the stinkin’ Super Bowl.”

Doug’s words to the team after demolishing the Vikings on Sunday night are a perfect mix of nerdy and boss that only Doug Pederson can orate well.

After the 38-7 drubbing, the Vikings were sent out the only way this city can:

As the Vikings were heading out of town, Eagles fans were heading up:

The Roundup:

All of this is because of Nick Foles, who had one of the best games of his career in the biggest game of his career. The man who has the Birds on the precipice of its first Super Bowl win was 26-33 for 352 yards and 3 touchdowns. The game was essentially over by midway through the third quarter as the team put it on cruise control while Eagles fans scrambled to get tickets and book hotel rooms in the coldest city the Super Bowl has ever been in.

If you are looking to get tickets, check your bank account first:

But before we get fully engulfed in the game ahead, it’s still time to enjoy last night’s win. Merrill Reese had some great calls of the offensive explosion. Hear them here, if you missed his linguistic stylings.

One of his highlight calls from the game was the pick-six by Patrick Robinson in the first quarter that re-awoke the Linc and tied the game at 7 after the Vikings marched right down the field to open the game.

Kevin Kinkead breaks it down, including the great blocking:

Re-live the game with our thread from last night, which talked about LeGarrette Blount scoring a touchdown and achieving this impressive feat:

Zach Ertz’s wife, who is a member of the U.S. women’s national soccer team, wasn’t at the game and it was quite the emotional time when she found out:

Some other Eagles fans also reacted with tears of joy, while others reacted with chaos in the streets and on social media. We roundup the best of the best here.

We also got a quick glimpse into Doug Pederson’s locker room speech via a Instagram Live video and it makes you eager to hear more.

Even though the relatively stress-free game was loads of fun, the festivities started pre-game with a good fight or two in the parking lots.

Eagles fans may have been charged up to tussle after seeing this video of the Vikings “takeover” from the museum steps:

That hate towards the Vikings carried over to the post-game fun as well and does not age discriminate:

Oh, and about those greased up poles? They were no match:

Seatbelts were optional last night in the city, and so was actually getting in the car:

Eventually the police tried to take back control of the situation:

Back inside the Linc, Nelson Agholor made a point to thank the media for their hand in the team’s playoff run:

Also, the governor was in the house:

And then the party started to what is the unofficial song of the team this year:

To keep you somewhat grounded, Nick Foles did take a few good shots in yesterday’s game and got some x-rays done post-game, but should be all good. Two weeks rest will surely help.

The underdog Eagles have become a national storyline during these playoffs and will of course continue in the Super Bowl:

The Philadelphia Eagles are the biggest Super Bowl underdogs since 2009.

The Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas on Sunday installed the Eagles as 5.5-point underdogs to the New England Patriots for Super Bowl LII.

Other sportsbooks went higher. The Wynn opened at New England minus -6.5, and Caesars Palace and Station Casinos each made the Patriots minus-6.

The newest Crossing BroadCast dropped this morning and I don’t need to tell you what it is about.

In an un-related to this game hate, LeSean McCoy took a quick jab at ole Chip Kelly:

Now we have 13 days to break it down until the Eagles play football again because next weekend is the Pro Bowl and:

As we start the week, don’t forget, still underdogs:
