Thanks to a resurgent Robert Covington, the Sixers bounced back from Sunday’s loss to Milwaukee with a dominant 128-114 win over the Charlotte Hornets. Covington led the way with a team-high 22 points and went 5-of-9 from beyond the arc. Ben Simmons posted a near triple-double with 16 points, 13 assists, and eight rebounds, while Dario Saric, Joel Embiid, JJ Redick, and Ersan Ilyasova also finished in double figures.

The Sixers are still a game back of the Washington Wizards thanks to an overtime victory over the Miami Heat last night. Speaking of the Heat, the Sixers will make another trip to South Beach on Thursday.
