Leading into the Final Four, it seemed Villanova would finally meet a team to challenge it. But Kansas didn’t get the job done. The Wildcats, winners of the 2016 NCAA basketball national championship, manhandled the Jayhawks, shooting 55 percent from the floor and 45 percent from behind the 3-point arc in a national semifinal on Saturday night. Kansas never had a chance.

That victory put Villanova into the National Championship game against No. 3 Michigan, semifinal winners against No. 11 Loyola-Chicago. The Wolverines would do well to find a way to guard the perimeter Monday night when the teams meet at San Antonio’s Alamodome.

It’s not too late to get tickets to see that national title game in person and PrimeSport.com can put you there — for less than the average cost of a ticket on the secondary market. According to TicketIQ.com, the average asking price on the secondary market for the National Championship is $470 and the get-in price is $100. On StubHub, the get-in price ranges from $85.30 (300-level seats) to $200.50 (200-level seats). The official NCAA ticket exchange, powered by Primesport beats StubHub for seats at each level. In fact, if you you’re looking for 200-level seats, the cheapest seat available on the Exchange is $148.75 as compared to slightly over $200 on StubHub — and some of the Exchange tickets include access to in-stadium hospitality.

PrimeSport also has great deals on experiences alongside or outside Monday’s National Championship. The company is selling access to the NCAA’s official pre-game event at the San Antonio Convention Center. For the $295 entry fee, fans can enjoy upscale all-you-can-eat food stations and open bar as well as interactive games, live music and celebrity appearances. Among the celebs you might bump into are former NCAA and NBA All-Star George Gervin, composer David Barrett and media personality Seth Davis.

For Wildcats fans who want tickets and the pre-game fun, PrimeSport has an all-inclusive package starting at $394. Like all PrimeSport packages, the NCAA VIP Experience + Game Ticket deal allows fans the flexibility to select their own seat. The deal includes access to the pre-game party as well as in-stadium hospitality with food and beverages at a club located directly behind the seats.

At the $394 price point, fans can pick up tickets in the 300-level sections that include the VIP Experience. For $439, there are a handful of tickets available in Section 203 behind the basket that also include access to the Hall of Fame Club, while about $2,000 buys fans a seat at mid-court in the 100-level sections.

And if you’ve got a big group who wants to spring for a last-minute suite, PrimeSport is offering Suite 39, which accommodates 20 people and is located above Section 208, for $22,795.

No. 1 Villanova vs. No. 3 Michigan

Villanova has looked unbeatable through the tournament and frankly, there was little drama in the semifinals when the Wildcats set a Final Four record with 18 3-pointers. Can Michigan create some drama n the final? Only if the Wolverines play at the top of their game while the Wildcats are slightly off (that hasn’t happened yet). The game pits the No. 1 offense in the national (Villanova) vs. the No. 3 defense (Michigan). The Wildcats, who will trying for their third national championship (1985, 2016), have won their tournament games by an average of 18 points and have scored an average of 85 points per game in the post season.

We’d guess that when Barrett’s “One Shining Moment” is played as the winning team cuts down the nets, it will be the Wildcats doing the cutting.
