I mentioned the other day that NBC Sports Philadelphia is running a B Dawk special tonight, called “Brian Dawkins Enshrined.” It airs at 6:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and features a sit down with Derrick Gunn in which Dawkins discusses his Hall of Fame nod and the depression and anxiety he battled during the early part of his career.

But wait – there’s more.

Apparently there are two more specials set to air tomorrow night as well, but actually on the NBC 10 mothership instead.

They are:

“Call to Canton: Brian Dawkins” – 7:00 p.m.

This is supposed to be a taped half-hour special hosted by Danny Pommells. I’m told it’s chock full of Dawk’s best highlights, plus footage of him receiving his Super Bowl ring.

“NBC 10: Hall of Fame Special” – 7:30 p.m.

This is going to be a live special, also a half-hour, hosted by John Clark in Canton, Ohio. I think some of the Gunn interview will be in here, plus video of Dawkins as he gets the phone call informing him he’s going to be a Hall of Famer.

I don’t see tonight’s special on my TV listings, but maybe it’s just not updated on the FIOS log. This is what it says on the NBCSP website:

Those two TBA slots would be for the special, but I don’t know what the “Quick Slants Brian Dawkins Special” is. Maybe there are actually four programs running.

And confirmation of tomorrow’s specials on NBC 10, which leads into the Hall of Fame game between da Bears and Ravens:

After the game, check out NBC 10 news at 11, where you can catch up on all of the fires and car accidents of the day, plus your seven-day forecast.

But yeah, I’d tune in for those Brian Dawkins programs. Looks pretty cool to me.
