Some executive at FOX must have sent out a memo this morning directing talent to talk about the Philadelphia Eagles.

The narrative is similar to what Colin Cowherd talked about earlier: the Birds are becoming too loud, too obnoxious, and losing focus.

Jason Whitlock wants in on the act, with his take that the Eagles are full of themselves:

Gotta say, I’m totally distracted by Rob Ryan’s amazing suit jacket and hair and T.J. Houshmandzadeh’s pony tail.

Seth Joyner makes a lot of sense here. T.J. also. I get what Whitlock is saying, but he’s basing his argument on Lane Johnson’s Patriots comments and an excerpt from Doug Pederson’s book. That’s literally all he has to go on. And yeah, maybe the Eagles aren’t totally locked in or focused just yet, and the injuries are what they are, so week one might not be as smooth as everybody originally thought.

Still, it seems like a stretch to say this organization is full of it. RE: the Jaguars and Patriots, Pederson and Johnson were calling it how they see it, and they weren’t wrong.
