Update from the Sixers on the power forward’s health:

NOV. 7, 2018 – Mike Muscala suffered a nose fracture and facial laceration during Tuesday’s practice as a result of a collision with a teammate. He received six stitches for the laceration and will wear a protective mask for the nose fracture once he is cleared to return to play. He is out and will be re-evaluated in approximately one week.

Team can’t catch a break, can they?

This is the second time this has happened to the Sixers in less than six months. Of course you all remember the Markelle Fultz and Joel Embiid collision that took place right before the playoffs last year.

Muscala is averaging 7 rebounds and 4 assists a game, spelling Dario Saric off the bench. They’ll have to stagger the backup power forward spot tonight in Indiana.
