Season = over.

Technically not, but it’d take a miracle for the Eagles to make it into the postseason.

In a game which featured awful officiating, awful offense to start the game, and an awful end to it, the Birds’ season is done. Stick a fork in them. Even if they still have a chance, good luck beating the Rams and Texans in the next two weeks.

I would’ve rather had a blowout of a loss than a slow and painful one. Just give me the big blow and not beat me to the core to watch that.

It’s not the same team as last year by any means. Kevin will have more later this morning.

While the Eagles have their playoff chances fade, the Giants might actually have a chance?

After losing to the Blue Jackets Thursday night, the Flyers scored a lot in their 6-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday. That was great.

Then they lost 7-1 to the Winnipeg Jets. Michal Neuvirth gave up three goals on 10 shots. Fun times.

They’ll be in Calgary Wednesday night, and Brian Elliott could return for their run in western Canada.

While the Phillies were quietly unveiling a new logo, the team could be making some free agency progress at the winter meetings. They did acquire José Álvarez last week.

Elsewhere, Kevin Frandsen will be the team’s radio color commentator for road games.
