As we continue to wait for PA online sports betting, Parx Casino in Bensalem is set to begin accepting wagers this week.

The casino will hold a soft launch on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. If all goes as planned, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board would likely give the go-ahead for an official launch on Thursday afternoon.

The launch at Parx, which becomes the fourth Pennsylvania casino to host legal sports betting and the second in the greater-Philadelphia area, will be followed by eventual openings at the Turf Club next to the stadiums and Valley Forge Turf Club.

Parx will operate its sportsbook, which will take bets across all popular sports, where the former 360 Bar and Lounge was previously located in the casino as the company builds its $10 million permanent setup. The temporary location will feature at least 20 HD television screens, two 16×9 foot screens that can simultaneously show up to four games, a full service bar, and dozens of betting kiosks.
