Here’s today’s Bryce Harper update: It sucks and I’m ready to move on.

The San Francisco Giants have discussed a potential 10-year deal with Harper. They join the Phillies in that category. However, if you want to believe Jon Heyman or not, he says the Dodgers are Harper’s preferred destination.

So much for four months of thinking he’d come to Philly, I guess.

But these are still rumors. Something could pop up today and would be a huge positive for the Phils. I just want this to be done. Sign something. Some don’t want him now because he plays right field. Howard Eskin and Angelo Cataldi are part of the latest edition of RADIO WARS. Roman Quinn got hurt. More chaos could start up if he just doesn’t sign.

Is this a positive sign?

We shall see.

The Roundup:

With Harper still dominating the Philly sports scene, the Eagles made a notable move with one of their quarterbacks. Howie Roseman announced the team won’t franchise tag Nick Foles and will let him become a free agent. Sounds like there wasn’t a good market for Foles in a trade.

With that, the quarterback market got slightly better.

The Sixers are in OKC tonight to take on the Thunder at 8 PM on TNT. We might see the debut of Justin Patton, who was the other player that came over in the Jimmy Butler trade. We won’t see Joel Embiid or Boban Marjanovic.

A big game on the ice in Columbus tonight as the Flyers take on the Blue Jackets. Puck drop is at 7 PM on NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Despite the team being one of the hottest in the league and trying to claw themselves back into the playoff hunt, it’s a little too late.

Saturday night’s Stadium Series game was a ratings success. Fantastic.
