At the risk of burying the lede, I’ll share with you the most intriguing passage from a press release NBC Sports Philadelphia sent out, announcing their 2019 postseason broadcast schedule.

Paragraph four:

The Sixers finished the season averaging a 2.7 household rating on NBC Sports Philadelphia and NBC Sports Philadelphia+, up 12% compared to the 2017-18 regular season.  NBC Sports Philadelphia’s streaming coverage of the 76ers season averaged 18,000 unique devices per game and 1.1 million minutes streamed, up +50% and 63% respectively over the previous season.

Solid stuff for NBCSP. Execs will hope those numbers continue into the playoffs, where first round games will again be simulcasted locally if you prefer to watch Marc Zumoff, Alaa Abdelnaby, and Serena Winters instead of a national TV crew.

Also from the release, after the jump:

…NBC Sports Philadelphia will air all games, with Sixers Pre and Postgame programs, Sixers Outsiders, plus exclusive coverage on NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com, and across all social media platforms.

The broadcast team of Marc ZumoffAlaa Abdelnaby and Serena Winters will call the action on NBC Sports Philadelphia for all games. Amy Fadool will host a special hour-long edition of Sixers Pregame Live with Jim Lynam and Marc Jackson. Immediately after the game, the trio return for Sixers Postgame Live, followed by Sixers Outsiders with Tyrone Johnson and Krystle Rich.  Fans can also check out the all-new Sixers Talk podcast with Danny Pommells and Paul Hudrick.
