After a disappointing Game 1 performance against the Raptors, the Sixers rebounded in a strong way en route to a 94-89 win over Toronto to tie the series up at one game apiece.

Despite leading by as many as 19 points in the first half, Philly didn’t let the Raptors retake the lead after they gave it up midway through the opening quarter. After a meh opening game, Jimmy Butler took center stage and scored a team-high 30 points to go along with 11 rebounds and five assists. He wasn’t the only Sixer that shined. James Ennis scored 13 points and Greg Monroe added 10 points with five rebounds off the bench in notable reserve performances.

Joel Embiid, who battled sickness during the day, finished with 12 points, six rebounds, and five assists. And even though Ben Simmons didn’t have a productive night on offense, he was a challenge to Kawhi Leonard on defense.

Everything was going better for the team thanks to a few tweaks, maybe except for Tobias Harris. But the series is shifting to Philly for the next two games beginning Thursday at 8 PM on ESPN. And if Toronto has Drake, Philly counters with…
