Nugget from Rob Tornoe over at Inquirer.com:

Tucker, a former NFL offensive lineman turned broadcaster, will be the new voice in the Eagles’ preseason booth, where he’ll call all four games on NBC10 alongside play-by-play announcer Scott Graham and analyst Dave Spadaro. Tucker is filling the spot vacated by Mike Mayock, who left the NFL Network in the offseason to become the general manager of the Oakland (soon to be Las Vegas) Raiders.

Good get.

Tucker appears regularly on 94 WIP and obviously knows his stuff as a seven-year NFL veteran with broadcasting experience. He does NFL games on the radio and college football for various networks. He’s a Berks County guy, born and raised in Wyomissing, up near Reading. Shout out to my Berks County people.

The first preseason game is Thursday, August 8th, at 7:30 p.m., on NBC 10. I personally would like to see another “Long Cox” moment on this year’s broadcast:
