It’s that time of the year.

Time to rank NFL players ahead of the new season.

The NFL Network is doing their annual top-100 list, but the cool thing is that the players themselves are polled for these rankings, no media or fans or anything like that.

They’re revealing 10 guys at a time, and right now they’ve reached the top 40, where Zach Ertz is ranked.

The following Eagles are on the list, which contains a complementary video clip for each player, after the jump:

40. Zach Ertz

72. Jason Kelce

96. Carson Wentz

Does that seem low for Wentz? For what it’s worth, Carson was ranked third on the 2018 list, so that’s a drop of 93 spots for him after the back injury cut short his season. Cam Newton is ranked in the 80s and Kirk Cousins is #78, which seems a bit wonky to me, but what do I know?

I assume when the top 30 players are revealed this week that Fletcher Cox will be the highest-rated Eagle, though they did have him at #69 last year, which is insanely low. Malcolm Jenkins and Lane Johnson landed in the 90s on the 2018 list.
